Moses Amik Beaver, aboriginal artist from the isolated fly-in community of Nibinamik, (Summer Beaver) in conjunction with LakeSuperiorStore.com had the privilege of presenting to The Honourable James K. Bartleman, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, the painting  “Inheritance”.

Presented at the Lieutenant Governor’s New Years Levee at the Thunder Bay Armouries in celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Lake Superior Scottish Regiment.  Beaver’s  painting reflects creation, and the interdependence of man and animal to mother earth.  Inherent is the notion of generation, through the birth of the aboriginal child, preservation, of the aboriginal culture and conservation of the earth for future generations.
