| Sailing Lake Superior Otter Cove By Anne |
Otter Cove along the wilderness islands of Ontario is one of my favorite anchorages. This is such a beautiful place that no description could treat it fairly. Tall, forest covered hills; smooth rocky areas, and bright green marshes can be seen as you survey this snug cove. At one end is a river, and if you follow it to the end you can enjoy a beautiful waterfall. Some years it is rushing wide, wild and frothy white. Other years it is a small falls against a rock face.

While anchored here we are often treated to a lovely sunset with loons and white crowned sparrows serenading us. |

As we rise in the morning we may be greeted by an early morning fog laying over Otter Cove’s river and its falls. |
